LUMEN
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
You woke up in a dark cavern, with a strange device situated in your hands. You can barely see what's next, but you sure as hell feel like you should get out of here. Fast.
LUMEN was supposed to be a retro inspired speed game, where you'd be forced to move swiftly yet carefully, navigating a barely lit up environment, with only your trusty legs to carry you home
Sadly, I've started working on this game too late for my own good, and with my disorganized time management skills I only got to implement some rough idea of what the game should be. This is my first time using Godot, and it honestly feels great. While the game is unfinished at best, I still wanted to drop by and put this demo up just for my mind's sake! Wouldn't mind working on it again, so be on a lookout after the jam's over!
Note, as it's my first time using Godot and considering I don't own a Mac, and my Linux computer's out of service for the moment, I couldn't test any version except for the Windows one, sincerely hope it's not an issue and that the game export went as expected!
On another note, if you're unfamiliar with bunny hopping and are having troubles with some levels, search up tutorials on bhopping in source engine games! I am well aware that it's an imperfect solution, but it's the best I can do to help post deadline, it's much easier to learn from a visual rather than through text. My bad on that one!
